COSTCO!!!

This was my first trip to Costco...yeah, I know.. where have I been all this time??? Great way to spend my lunch break with the colleagues... I must say, I'm now an addict, felt like I was in the States.
With Ramadhan round the corner it's time to stock up on food stuff and what better place to shop than Costco? ZBZ's top recommendation. But be warned, you can spend a fortune in that there because everything is at such a bargain price you'll end up leaving with the entire store. So...take heed, give yourself a budget...and ask yourself...do I reeeeeeeally need that??

Countdown to Ramadhan

With the month of Ramadhan fast approaching, I can feel the buzz in the air and the anticipation for the blessed month.
This is a very special month for the Muslim Community in which fasting has been prescribed. For many of us it is the bench mark we try to keep for the rest of the year as we make greater efforts to improve our character, perfect our manners, increase in our acts of worship and good deeds and draw closer to God.


So make the most of your Ramadhan! If you haven't done so already, make a plan... your Ramadhan check list of thing you want to achieve be it perform all your sunnah prayers, complete the recitation of the Holy Quran, memorise Surah tul- Mulk... it could be anything...small or large just make sure you start the month with a clear focus.

My Style...

This is one of my more chilled out looks. A nice afternoon out with the ladies...

I love layering my clothes so as you can imagine I'm not a fan of a boiling hot summer's day... This day I was going for soft tones of brown and pink which always gives you an elegant edge no matter the occasion.

Fabric Samples

A great fashion item is all about the design and fabric! Get the fabric wrong, and the design is ruined, so it's not really as easy as it sounds.

Fabric shopping can be pretty challenging at times, there are so many options, so many fabric blends, thickness etc. All that is very vital and can make or break a garment.

We went fabric sample shopping and it was challenging but fun.
